My progress 2017

Here is the  progress I have made this year  in maths, basic facts, reading, spelling and writing. I think I have made good progress in maths.

Bee bot is fun to play with. We wrote poems about the robots.   

   Bee bot is fast like the flash and dash. It stops like there is invisible people in the front of it.

Skittles experience

We have been learning to use better sentence starters and write juicy sentence starters. Here is my writing on our skittles experiment. 

Measurement

For maths we have been learning about measurement. I have shown you how to measure objects using a ruler.

Kite Poem

This week room 1 and room 2 have been making kites. We flew our kites on the field. After we flew our kite we wrote kite poems.

We have been learning about scientific investigations.  WE learn the scientific method.

Fractions

We have been learning Fractions. Fractions are equal parts of a shape. You fold shapes into equal parts to find fractions of  shapes.

We made paper spinner for maths. We had to use our fraction and shape knowledge to help us fold our spinner. We decorated our spinner with patterns and colours we battled our spinners with a  friend my spinner...

At school I went to triathlon with my friends.

We went swimming first I got splashed on my head.

We went biking second. I took my own bike, my bike is a Giant.

Finally we went running, we were nearly finished and I came second.
